We are excited to inform you that J-WEL has incorporated the Learning International Networks Consortium (LINC) into our organization. LINC is an MIT-managed international initiative that began in 2001. LINC works as a professional society, and its conference series serves as an international gathering of individuals and organizations that focus on how digital learning can play the role of providing quality education at scale, particularly in developing nations and emerging markets.
LINC invites scholars, practitioners, students, corporate executives, government officials, foundation professionals, EdTech companies, and startups to gather and share research on and insight into digital learning engineering. Accomplished leaders and educators across the globe are selected to speak on and highlight their personal experiences in developing digital learning technologies and initiatives. LINC attendees are encouraged to network, seek collaborations, and present their own research and experiences during the conference. Seven international LINC conferences have been held to date. LINC 2016 had more than 250 participants from over 30 countries; its theme was “Digital Inclusion: Transforming Education through Technology.”
The J-WEL team is delighted to invite you to attend the eighth LINC conference, which will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from June 18-20, 2018. The upcoming event is expected to be the largest LINC conference held to date. Please save the date for LINC 2018 and, for those coming from abroad, make appropriate travel plans.
J-WEL members receive free registration to LINC. Additional information about theme, registration, and attendance will be forthcoming.
