To develop an in-depth, nuanced understanding of what teaching was like during the COVID-impacted 2020-21 academic school year, we interviewed 57 U.S. pK-12 teachers from across the country in public, charter, and private schools, at different grade levels, and in different subject areas.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced organizations to transform themselves almost overnight and overturned long-held assumptions about how we work, where we work, and the tools we use to get work done.
Abstract: Online teaching at higher educational institutions has become a much higher priority in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, but most faculty and staff at these institutions are ill-prepared to adapt their teaching methods and content to this new medium.
Our third session explores the implications for the education ecosystem, including the role of educational systems and their partnerships with industry.
In this session, guest experts and J-WEL members examine how to reconstruct daily life after COVID, and how they imagine all aspects of our societies and daily life, from commerce and transportation, to how we work and spend our leisure time, will change.
