Description

The High Meadows Graduate School of Teaching and Learning, a new competency-based teacher education program built in collaboration with MIT, is reenvisioning the way that educators are prepared. This webinar will introduce the Graduate School's structure, including its competencies, with a particular focus on how it approaches the competency of 'Teaching for Justice'; its distinctive challenge-based curriculum; its approach to assessment; and its approach to design and iteration.

This session is part of our new Teacher Education and Professional Development Webinar Series, where J-WEL members and the MIT community will come together to share their approaches to professional development for teachers.
