MITx course "Shaping Work of the Future" begins today

The MITx on edX course, "Shaping Work of the Future," begins today. The goal of the course is to explore the relationship between new technologies such as AI and robotics, work and society more broadly and develop plans of action for improving the job and career opportunities for today and tomorrow’s workforce. 

The course was recently featured in Axios.

Instructors for the course include Tom Kochan, the George M. Bunker Professor and Co-Director of the MIT Institute for Work and Employment Research, and Dr. Elisabeth Reynolds, Director of the MIT Taskforce on Work of the Future. Professor Kochan serves on the J-WEL Workplace Learning Advisory Board. Dr. Reynolds is scheduled to speak in less than two weeks' time at the April 2019 J-WEL Week in a session entitled, "Work of the Future."
