Paid Opportunity for MIT Students: TAs Needed for Curriculum Design Workshop

Higher Education @ J-WEL is hiring teaching assistants for our summer Curriculum Design Workshop. The workshop will welcome 15 university faculty members from across the globe who want to design or redesign a current course they teach in either computer or life sciences. The TAs will work with MIT/J-WEL faculty and staff and play a key role in making an impact on education for participating international faculty and their respective universities. 

Applicants should:

  • Be a 3rd or 4th year MIT undergraduate student (graduate students with deep knowledge of and experience with MIT undergraduate education may also apply)
  • Have a strong background in computer science and/or life sciences
  • Have a passion for and knowledge of MIT education, such that feedback can be provided to lecturers attending the workshop
  • Knowledge of Latin American, Nigerian, or Russian university systems desirable
