Senior Learning Innovation Designer


Emily Glass is a Senior Learning Innovation Designer at MIT J-WEL. Trained as an architect, she is now a designer and educator who works on innovative projects in education at the intersection of design, creativity, and technology. Prior to her current role, Emily was the Director of NuVuX, the external partnerships initiative of NuVu Studio, a studio-based middle and high school, where she worked with schools and organizations around the world to build maker-spaces and design hands-on learning programs for students at the k-12 level. Before shifting to education, Emily worked as an architectural designer on residential, institutional, and healthcare projects. Emily holds a B.A. in Architecture from Columbia University and an Masters of Architecture from Rice University.
