The MIT Integrated Learning Initiative–known as MITili–seeks to transform learning through research and applied practice. Established in 2016, the initiative has benefited over the years from Jameel World Education Lab support, with funding provided by membership enabling MITili’s important work of funding, connecting, and sharing MIT research that sheds light on learning effectiveness. Work supported by MITili ranges from the study of brain scans of individual learners to the use of data analytics to understand the implications of policy decisions.
MITili studies address questions at the learner, instruction, and/or policy level across one or more of three broad demographics: birth through pK-12, higher education, and workplace learning.
